TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Information published on this web site is provided for the use of its visitors and you are advised that, although care has been taken to ensure technical and factual accuracy, some errors may occur. No guarantee is given of the accuracy or completeness of information on these pages. Please be aware that The Shredquarters may alter the information on its web site from time to time. Some of our clubs may have slightly different terms. It is important that you check with your own club for their policies.
By joining The Shredquarters, you agree to use The Shredquarters facilities in accordance with the company’s Terms and Conditions as displayed on their website or premises and as set out in this document. Where these differ, the terms and conditions in this document supersede those elsewhere.
The Shredquarters accepts no responsibility for any lost or stolen property at our premises. Any items left at The Shredquarters will be kept for 2 weeks before being disposed of.
You must park in allocated parking bays. Where these are not available, you must park elsewhere. You will be responsible for paying for parking (if required) and accept all responsibility for any fines that may occur as a result of your parking when attending a Shredquarters class.
You participate in classes and personal training sessions entirely at your own risk and should seek medical advice should you have any concerns. By participating in a Shredquarters class, you are confirming that you do not suffer from health problems that would hinder exercise or prevent you from engaging in exercise, or that would be detrimental or adverse to your health, safety or physical condition if you did exercise. In case of any doubt, you shall seek advice by a medical doctor who should confirm the ability to exercise. The Shredquarters shall have no obligation to perform a fitness assessment or similar testing to determine your physical condition. If an assessment is done at The Shredquarters, it is for the sole purpose of compiling comparative data in order to track your progress in a programme and not for diagnostic purposes.
The joining fee is taken with immediate effect and the first weekly membership is taken on the first day of your membership as agreed upon joining. Please note that your membership is an eight-week rolling contract and payments are taken weekly in advance on the same day each week.
If you have a Basic Membership, the day the payment is taken also corresponds to the day your class credits reset. You cannot roll-forward credits to the next week if unused.
From time to time, we may need to increase the price of the membership. We will give you at least one full month's notice of any price increase and when it will take effect. During this period, you will have your usual right to terminate your membership in accordance with the membership terms and conditions.
To cancel, 7 clear days written notice is required before the final payment of each 8-week rolling period. Written notice should be sent to the Shredquarters location where your account is held. If notice is not provided, then your contract will roll-forward automatically for a further eight (8) weeks and will continue on this basis.
As an illustrative example - should you provide notice in the 10th week of being a member, your contract will not terminate until the 16th week and you will be required to continue to make payments on a weekly basis until that period has ended.
In exceptional circumstances, a membership can be paused (for example serious injury or illness). In such circumstances, a written doctors note will need to be provided for proof of injury or illness. A paused membership cannot take place in the first eight (8) weeks and a a maximum 4 week paused period applies in any 8 weeks. Please note that a small weekly fee will apply for paused memberships. This will pause your current membership, which will then continue thereafter.
Any changes to memberships must be requested in writing by emailing your Shredquarters gym where your membership is held. Any changes to your Membership option restarts the 8-week contract period.
Class No Shows
A small fee will incur to any no shows of classes that members are booked on.
